If we want to understand the nature or structure of Self it is necessary to bring in spiritual explanations. Therefore every discussion of the Self either quickly becomes spiritual or has to end due to the unwillingness to acknowledge the self`s essential spirituality.
The unity that we all experience from a first-person perspective provides evidence that there is an overall Self that unifies the various developmental lines and modes of consciousness.T
That there is a unifying holon of the overall Self is also suggested by our understanding of the systemic nature of consciousness. As with all evolutionary systems, it is inevitable that as consciousness evolves, the many will become one and will be increased by one, the Self.
The Self is the only reality. And whoever is initiated into Self and in His Way has come to know Himself completely – loves everything and everyone equally, for he is ONE with them.
The Self – at one and the same time the Self of all living creatures. It knows no boundaries, the entire universe is within us and fills the Universe. All that is – is Self. In everything I love I love Self. The only things we think we don’t love are those we haven’t yet come to recognize within ourselves.
